8 Teams Are Ready for the Final Round of KRSTI

Indonesia Robot Contest (KRI ) 2018 was started on Thursday (12/7) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. All robots of 14 teams pulled out unique performances on the first three rounds of Indonesia Dance Robot Contest (KRSTI). As a representative of the Jury, Gigih Prabowo announced an accumulated score of the entire rounds at 8 p.m.

The results of the recapitulation were ROSEMERY (Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta) with 77.89 points, Azzahraly (Universitas Negeri Surabaya) with 77.00 points, ERISA (Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya) with 76.67 points, VI-ROSE (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember) with 74.56 points, LANANGE JAGAD (Universitas Ahmad Dahlan) with 73.78 points, CMCS Art (Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang) with 72.11 points, Dago Concordia (Institut Teknologi Bandung) with 70.56 points, NAKULA-NAYAKA (Universitas Brawijaya) with 70.56 points, BADAYA SAS (Universitas Telkom) with 67.56 points, EURO ARTE (Universitas Sam Ratulangi) with 66.00 points, ALFAN (Universitas Gadjah Mada) with 64.44 points, RoboGen (STMIK Mitra Lampung) with 59.22 points, JAN’NAH (Universitas Semarang) with 56.44 points, and PAGARUYUANG (Politeknik Negeri Padang) with 54.11 points.

Based on the results above, 8 teams with the highest score passed to the final round held on Friday (13/7). The captain of ROSEMARY team (Universitas Negeri Yogya) whose team obtained the highest score claimed that he did not expect the result. “We are surprised to be the first winner on the first day. We also did not expect that our team succeeds and goes to the final round since our robots confronted a lot of problems during the second and third match such as bad wire connection and hardware error requiring us to retry the performance. However, I feel so grateful with the result,” he expressed. For the next match, he further explained that his team and he would do their best, and hope ROSEMARY could perform without any mistake so that they can maintain their title as a winner from the previous KRSTI.

Similarly, a representative of Dago Concordia (Institut Teknologi Bandung) achieving the seventh winner of the first three rounds I Komang Suvarwana said that his team would try to do their best effort for the next match. “We will do our best and improve our robots so that we can perform without any trouble in the final,” he mentioned.
