Having Three Occasions, KRSI Teams Ought to Attract the Judges

18 teams from various universities in Indonesia joined Indonesia Art Robot Contest (KRSI) conducted at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). The teams accomplished the first round on Saturday (13/6). The robots had three occasions to dance beautifully. The person in charge of KRSI Iswanto stated one team had two robots and would perform three times. The couple robot had to attain certain zones to get points.

“Each team comprises often robots and gets three opportunities to perform to be graded. The robots have to move to certain zones to get points,” he informed.

Iswanto elucidated that the scoring system of KRSI would be based on the beauty of dance movement and errors of the robot. The robot would dance 3 minutes 28 seconds. “And, if the robot gets error, the score would be reduced,” he explained.

Iswanto added that the arena of KRI was divided into four zones: start zone, middle zone, battle zone, and closing zone. The arena itself was 2×3 meters. “There are four zones for the scoring. When the robot dance reaches the zone, it will get score,” he inserted.

Additionally, the 18 teams joining KRSI were Bunyuang (Politeknik Negeri padang), Bingkuang (Padang State University), Badaya (University of Telkom), Robusterra (Gadjah Mada University), Erisa  (Politeknik Elektronik Negeri Surabaya), Vi-Rose (Sepuluh November Institute of Technology), Rosmeri UNY (Yogyakarta State University), Dago Concordia (Bandung Institute of Technology), Barelang 6,1 (Politeknik Negeri Batam), Azka & Agra (University of Brawijaya), Isola_A.3 (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia), Lanange Jagad (Universitas Ahmad Dahlan), CMCS_Art (Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang), Ashvara (University of Indonesia), Euro Arte (University of Sam Ratulangi), Batuah (Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin), Jan’nah 2 (Semarang State University), and  Krakatau 5.5 (STMIK Teknokrat Bandar Lampung).
