Winning over Ichiro, Eros Maintains to be the Winner of KRSBI 2015

Indonesia Soccer Robot Contest (KRSBI) was accomplished all matches conducted on Sunday (14/6) at Sportorium of Univesitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). In the final round, there was Ichiro (Sepuluh November Institute of Technoogy) and Eros (Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya) that Eros won with the score 3-1. The other match was to be the second runner up that R2C-R9 (Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana) won over Alfarobi (Gadjah Mada University).

In final round, the robots were able to detect the ball quickly, and in the first second round the score had been 1-1. Ultimately, Eros added 2 goals and won over Ichiro with the score 3-1.

Furthermore, the members of Eros were Dimas Pristovani, Ahmad Syaifuddin Zuhri, Naufal Suryanto, and Rizki Taufik Ulil Albab. They were very glad to maintain to be the winner of KRSBI which they had achieved last year. Then, they would immediately focus on international contest in China. “We are very happy to be the winner and we would directly concern with RoboCup in China,” he expressed.

They inserted that they had been work hard for preparing the contest as making the team, and they thanked to all parties and supporters. “We had quite long preparation, from making the team to performing in this KRI. We also thank to all parties supporting us from the beginning to the end, as well as the supporters. We love you all,” added the Eros.

Eros also appreciated UMY as the host providing various facilities during KRI 2015 as cozy lodging and very helpful LO. “We appreciate UMY as the host. The facilities are very great as the lodging and LO. We have never competed in such luxurious building like this,” he stated. Additionally, they expected that Eros could engage in fostering national robot community to be able to compete in international level. “We wish that we could always develop national robot community to compete in international level,” he ended.

In addition, being the winner, Eros would represent Indonesia in International Soccer Robot Contest, RoboCup, held in Hefei, China on 12-22 July 2015.
