Two assessors of National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) including Dr. Dian Indiyati, S.H., S.E., and Dr. Ir. Akhyar Yuniawan, S.E., M.Si. had an accreditation visit to Department of Management of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) on 16-18 July. It was the seventh accreditation visit undergone by the department.

On Tuesday (17/5), the assessors were welcomed by Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business (BEB) of UMY M. Rizal Yahya, SE, M.Ec, Ak, CPA., Department Head of Management Retno Widowati Purnama Asri, M.Si., Ph.D., and lecturers of FEB.

Rizal Yahya, SE, M.Ec, Ak, CPA. stated that the visit was a factor to develop the department. “We have prepared for the accreditation visit and we are optimistic to gain the best result from the BAN-PT. All supported data have been documented as evidence of our performance and programs conducted at Department of Management,” he told.

“We expect that the accreditation visit runs well and we can maintain ‘A’ accreditation. We believe that the accreditation result will impact development of the department, faculty, and this university,” declared Rizal.
