Commemorating the 37 anniversary, Faculty of Law of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) conducted a Family Day entitled “Harmonisasi Pasti Untung Menggapai Tujuan”on Thursday (1/3) at lobby of Faculty of Law of Building E of UMY. The event was attended by leaderships, lecturers, staffs, and all academicians of Faculty of Law of UMY.
Dean of Faculty of Law Dr. Trisno Raharjo, S.H., M.Hum. stated that Faculty of Law is one of the first faculties established at UMY. “Alhamdulillahhirobbil ‘alamin, no words I could say except gratitude since we have celebrated the 37th anniversary of this faculty. This Family Day aims to interweave relationships among academicians of Faculty of Law. Another thing what to be grateful is a grant of the Encyclopedia from a lawyer Ms. Sahniyar Mahdina, S.H. to Faculty of Law UMY. It shows that she has high trust to this faculty. Thus, I expect that there will be other grants,” declared Trisno.
He informed that various events to enliven the anniversary such as traditional dance, competitions, an academic oration, and theatrical music. “We also invite alumni to engage in various activities at this faculty. All these achievements gained by this faculty are due to our endeavor and good team work,” emphasized Trisno.
Besides, Vice Dean for Students, Human Resource, and Financial Affairs of Faculty of Law wished that this faculty can be a leading faculty and dare to confront global challenges. “I hope that this faculty gets brighter in both national and international levels and can develop knowledge of law areas,” she expressed.
