Information Technology Student Association (KMTI) of Universitas Muhammdiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) commemorated the 4th anniversary in the end of 2015 by organizing several events like Futsal Cup for Information Technology students, Badminton Cup, ‘Rangking 1’ (Quiz), and Celebration Night on Saturday (19/12).
The ‘Rangking 1’ was held on Saturday morning (19/12) at Plaza Bintang of UMY. The participants were Information Technology of UMY. The chief of the event as well as a student of Technology Information of batch 2014 Galih Satya Prihatmadi informed that the ‘Rangking 1’ employed elimination system. “The participants are approximately 100 students, and there would be selected to be the winner and runner up,” Galih stated.
The question of the quiz varied dealing with Information Technology, general knowledge, Islamic Studies, and others. “The quiz aimed at reinforcing relationship among students and enhancing students’ knowledge,” Galih inserted.
The ‘Rangking 1’ begun at 8 a.m. and ended by Dzuhur. “After the quiz, there would be photo mapping of KMTI logo by the participants and committee,” Galih maintained.
Furthermore, the Celebration Night was also conducted at Plaza Bintang of UMY. The schedule of the celebration was acoustic performance, movie screening, and gathering of Information Technology students. “The anniversary theme was Av4tar. The movie is played on the movie screening will display four elements of Avatar regarding the 4th anniversary of KMTI,” Galih conveyed.
Galih and his friends expected that KMTI would develop and gain a lot of achievement. “I also wish that relationship among the members will get strengthened,” he hoped.
