The winner of Indonesia Fire Fighting Robot Contest (KRPAI) for walking division was Cyber Rimau from Univerisy of Sriwijaya after defeating Makalam 3.1 from Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Dinamila Bangsa (STIDB). The team leaded by Prawzach Gari also had confronted some problems with the robot. “We are grateful for being the winner though we was pessimistic about wining the contest because the sensor system of the robot got trouble on the elimination round,” told Prawzach.
Furthermore, the team had achieved the third runner up in the regional level. They took 1.5 years to design robot components and repaired the robot algorithm to this national contest. “Since the robot is full of electricity so that it often encounters problems in the sensor system,” he informed.
The team comprised of Prawzach Gary Papang, Wayan Dadang, and Goldfiller E.D. They would represent Indonesia in Trinity College International Robot Contest in the United Stated in 2016. “We would evaluate many aspects and do renewal of all components as well as the algorithm for trinity contest. We expect that we could name Indonesia in international level.
Additionally, the final result of the KRPAI for walking division from 11-14 June at Sportorium of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) was University of Sriwijaya as the winner, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Dinamika Bangsa (STIDB) as the runner up, Politeknik Negeri Bandung (Polban) as the second runner up, and Yogyakarta State University as the third runner up.
