Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) 2015 at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta on 11-14 June must be welcomed merrily. To enliven the event, banners of KRI have been put around UMY. Besides the contest, there would also be Entrepreneur Expo during KRI. “Expo of KRI would be conducted on 12-14 June 2015 at 08.00 till drop in front of Sportorium. There would be a lot of stands and door prices accounted thousand rupiahs for participants and spectators,” told Bondan Gazali Muchtar,S.IP., the expo coordinator of KRI 2015 on Tuesday (9/6) at secretariat room of KRI.
The preparation of the expo has been 90%. The stands have been set. “The stands would be placed entirely and the preparation has been since long time. The stands were set yesterday and now they are now already to be used by students, public, and sponsors of KRI 2015,” he inserted.
Bondan continued that there would be 30 stands comprising 29 student groups, 2 publics groups, and 2 sponsorship groups. “The expo is meant to be employed by students because we are eager to foster student entrepreneurship. The student groups consist of programs of PKM, Sebi, and Perencanaan Bisnis (Business Plan) of Management Department of UMY that they have previously been selected. The sponsorships are BTN and Bukopin supporting the KRI 2015,” he continued.
The KRI expo aimed at facilitating students outside Jogja who want to buy souvenirs. “The expo would provide a lot of goods and food as snacks, food, beverage, and creative products. There would also be a robot clinic stand selling sperpact to create robots and a tourisms stand like travel agent. Both stands are made by students,” he conveyed.
The Expo of KRI 2015 would be also enlivened by several acoustic and jamming performances. There would be door prize and discounts accounted 10% for those buying KRI 2015. “The expo of KRI2015 is opened for not only spectators and participants but also students of UMY. Moreover, the expo is free so that everybody may come to KRI 2015. In the KRI there would also a walking robot so that it would attract everyone passing the Sportorium,” he informed.
For the snacks, there would be bakso lele, jenang, bakpia, wingko, pikocubit, nugetarian, bakso sosis goring, and durian goreng. There would also be tuna burger, juice, traditional snacks, ronde, nasi uduk, opor, klamud, and mie ayam. For the beverage, durian ice, drinks, jellyouqueen, pikocubit, ice cream pot, es buah, and dojajan. For student creativity, there would be 15 kinds as Kampus Kompany, bag, Zura TasWanita,Pantas Perca, night lamp, technocrat, Keren Tuntas, Laundry Tas, Ganungan Kunci, Pernak-Pernik Jogja, wallet, Kanaka T-Shirt Paint, tourism, Advanced Robotic Technolog, and Robot Clinic.
