To commemorate Eid al-Adha, Faculty of Law collaborating with PRM Triwidadi slaughtered a cattle in Jojoran Wetan, Triwidadi, Pajangan, Bantul on Thursday (23/8). The slaughter was attended by lecturers, staffs, and representatives of student organizations.

In his remark, Vice Dean for Student, Human Resource and Finance of Faculty of Law of UMY Prihati Yuniarlin were grateful that the faculty could share with others. She wished that someday Faculty of Law could conduct social service in all hamlets in Triwidadi.

“The social service is an implementation of catur dharma (four principles of Muhammadiyah higher education) so that lecturers of the Faculty of Law do not only teach at class but also perform community service,” declared Prihati.

Meanwhile, Head of PRM Triwidadi stated “I would like to thank Faculty of Law of UMY for being willing to collaborate with us.”

Besides slaughtering the cattle, UMY parties and people of Jojoran Wetan had meal a meal together to get closer one another. They expected that they could cooperate to organize other events.
