In his remark, Dean of FEB of UMY Dr. Rizal Yaya SE., M.Sc., Ak. Meanwhile, a representative of the KKBS Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pensri Jaroenwanit informed that it was the first MoA signed by the KKBS party with an Indonesian higher education institution. “We are glad since Indonesia is one of the greatest country having a lot of cultures. In fact, our knowledge of Indonesia needs to be improved so that we have to learn. Thus, may the MoU be valuable for students and lecturers of both institutions,” he declared.
Pensri also expected that the MoU can reinforce the relations between Khon Kaen University and UMY. “We will offer a partial scholarship in terms of free of tuition fee for a student exchange program,” he told.
Nevertheless, the student exchange program cannot be undertaken yet because both parties need a lot of preparation. “The student exchange program may be carried out next year as we have to prepare it well,” ended Pensri.
