Effiro and Beater 2.3 went to final round of Indonesia Fire Fighting Robot Contest (KRPAI) 2015 after winning over Mobo Evo and Play Maker. Those two teams defeated 23 other team from various universities in Indonesia.

“Alhamdulillah, we pass to final round,” stated the team leader of Effiro, Muhammad Alfin Bahru, in an interview after having a match with Mobo Evo on Sunday (14/6) at Sportorium of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogykarta (UMY).

In semifinal round, Beater 2.3 from Unviersitas Islam Sultan Agung Semarang won over Play Maker from Politeknik Mekatronika Sanata Dharma. The game took 2 minutes and Beater 2.3 sucessfully fought 3 candles and got a penalty because of crashing properties in the arena so that Beater 2.4 got 19.5 of the total score. On contrast, Play Maker only fought 2 candles and got the same penalty so that they got 9.5 points. Besides, Effiro from Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya won over Mobo Evo from Yogyakarta State University with the point 20 – 5. Thus, Effiro and Beater 2.3 went to final round.

“Congratulation for the teams to go to final round. I wish that the winner would name Indonesia in international robot contest in the United States in several next months,” asserted the umpire of KRPAI 2015, I Gusti Bagus Budi Dharma after semifinal round.
