A semifinal of Indonesia Wheeled Soccer Robot Contest (Wheeled KRSBI) was conducted on Friday (13/7). “Four teams competing in the semifinal have excellent robots so the matches were more thrilling and interesting,” admitted a jury of the Wheeled KRSBI Dr. Heru Santoso B.R., M.Eng, Ph.D.

In the semifinal, IRIS from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember won over MOBO EVO from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta with the score 4-0. This victory automatically drove IRIS become a finalist of National Indonesia Robot Contest (KRI) 2018. URT-ROSO from Universitas Islam Sultan Agung also passed to final after defeating SAKERA from Universitas Trunojoyo Madura with the score 4-2.

It is predicted by Heru that the final round is going to be a fierce match since both teams nearly have the same competence. Hence, the match between URT-ROSO and IRIS will be a tight match. Meanwhile, there will be a match between MOBO EVO and SAKERA to determine the second runner up.
