La Tansa Mashiro Expects Agreement with Muhamadiyah Higher Education Institutions

La Tansa Mashiro higher education institutions, Rangkasbitung, Banten possesses similar thoughts and behaviors to Muhammadiyah higher education institutions even though both of them were established in a different place. Thus, La Tansa Mashiro expected both institutions find a red thread.

In a visit of La Tansa Mashiro to Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) on Friday (11/8), UMY represented by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Ir. Sukamta, Vice Rector for Student, Alumni, Islamic and Muhammadiyah Study Affairs Hilman Latief, Ph.D. welcomed parties of La Tansa Mashiro at A.R. Fachruddin A, floor 5.

In his speech, a coordinator of La Tansa Mashiro Dr. H. Sholeh, M.M. stated that the establishment of La Tansa Mashiro was based on Al-Qashas of verse 77 mentioning “Do not forget your share of the world.” Thus, La Tansa Mashiro always attempts to equalize between world and hereafter knowledge. “La Tansa Mashiro philosophy derived its name from the philosophy showing that this higher education has the same thoughts and behaviors as Muhammadiyah. The difference is only that UMY is a Muhammadiyah institution while La Tansa Mashiro is Nadlatul Ulama,” declared Dr. H. Sholeh.

He added, “In this visit, we would like to discover agreement since our Muslim scholar represents all groups.”

Besides, Dr. Sholeh shared knowledge and experience. UMY parties also discussed human resources at UMY since La Tansa Mashiro believed that UMY possesses good human resources. “Hence, we wish that this visit enable us to enhance our commitment to always learning and to foster quality of human resources at La Tansa Mashiro,” he ended.
