Famed singers, Raisa and Kunto Aji enlivened Econite Music Concert under the theme ‘Dreams to Happiness’ organized by Student Executive Board (BEM) of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) on Monday (25/4) at Sportorium of UMY.  

Chief of the concert committee Ma’aruf Yorici Ramadhan stated that the concert was conducted as the last program of the faculty student board in that period. “This is a jazz concert that audiences can enjoy easy-listening music so that we invite Raisa and Kunto Aji. Profit of this concert will be donated to economics students from low-income family and to society empowerment,” he told.  

Ma’ruf added that the number of audiences were about 1,200 people. “Through this concert, we would like to share happiness to everyone, particularly students of the faculty. We expected that this concert can be held annually with other famous singers,” he expected. 

The concert was opened by performances of UMY student band and continued a performance by Kunto Aji singing Terlalu Lama Sendiri, Buka Buka Buka, Akhir Bulan, and the other five songs. 

Afterwards, Raisa appeal audiences’ attention. Her performance was mesmerizing. She sang Kali Kedua, Could It Be, and Mantan Terindah. The concert got rousing when she asked to switch off the light of Sportorium and told audiences to turn on flashlight on their mobile phone while she sang Terjebak Nostalgia.
