Students of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) associated in Capital Market Study Club (KSPM) became the runner up of Stocklab Investival at the Unnes Capital Market Competition 2017 in October organized by Financial Service Authority (OJK).
The students in team 1 were Afdal Syafe’i (a Management student of batch 2016) and Sunan P. Murpratomo (an Economics student of batch 2016). Besides, team 2 consisting of Rudi D. Amrianto (an Economics student of batch 2014) and Eko Wukagani (an Economics student of batch 2014) achieved the best paper analyst.
On a release on Monday (6/11), Afdal Syafe’i told that an elimination round of the Unnes Capital Market Competition 2017 was conducted on 16-20 October. “There were 162 teams from various Indonesian universities joining the online elimination round. Afterwards, top 12 teams were selected based on the highest score, and two of them are UMY teams,” he said.
Moreover, the final round was divided into four rounds, namely a preliminary round, multiple choice round, best of the rest, and beauty contest round (a presentation of stock market result analysis). “The KSPM often joins competitions. FEB of UMY always supports the students to participate in various competitions, particularly dealing with economics,” stated Afdal.
