Indonesia Robot Contest (KRI) 2015 has been conducted two days at Sportorium of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). All the contest categories have run the final round. A lot of supporters form various university in Indonesia sat at the hall and supported their team passing to the final round held on Sunday (14/6). They attempted to yell to support their team.

Other spectators seemed entertained and enthusiastic about the supporters’ yell. “The supporters are the encouragement for the participants. I am amused by them since they are very funny and creative,” stated Iin, one of the spectators watching the contest since Saturday (13/4).

The supporters yelled one another. Uniquely, the supporters of various universities gave their support during the match. It did not found any bullying words, and they only yelled to encourage their team. “We, as the supporters, are very happy because we could support teams of PENS. However, we also support our opponents since we are like brothers and sisters,” told a supporter coordinator of Politeknik Elektronik Negeri Surabaya (PENS).

A student of PENS also conveyed that, even though the supporters came from various areas, it did not bring them down to support his team. “We prepared the supporters a month ago after PENS won in regional level. We passed the hat and saved our money to support and come here directly. We also had fund from our lecturers. Then, we looked for lodging and transportation several days before the contest. Moreover, we are now selling shawls of PENS,” he informed.

Additionally, the supporters of KRI 2015 were not only from PENS but also from Universitas Budi Luhur Jakarta, Bandung Insitute of Technology (ITB), Yogyakarta State University (UNY), Sepuluh November Institute of Technology (ITS), University of Brawijaya (UB), and Politeknik Semarang.
