Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta cooperated with Chubu Gakuin University, Japan. On Monday (21/3), both parties signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Rector’s room of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), A.R. Fachruddin A, Floor 1. Signing the MoU was Rector of UMY, Prof. Bambang Cipto, M.A. and Dean of Nursing and Rehabilitation Faculty of Chubu Gakuin University, Akichika Mikami, M.D., Ph.D.

The MoU was specifically the cooperation between Medical and Health Science Faculty (FKIK) and Nursing and Rehabilitation Faculty of Chubu Gakuin University. The cooperation mentioned on the MoU was dealing with field trip aiming at conducting research, facilitating student mobility, publishing, and sharing information.

After signing the MoU, UMY’s parties invited parties of Chubu Gakuin University, Japan, to go around UMY and to discuss with FKIK of UMY. Prof. Bambang warmly welcomed them since the MoU signing broadened the international networks of UMY.
