Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta (UMY) launched the Post Graduate Program on Governmental Science (MIP) on Wednesday (May 4th). Together with IGOV (International Government Affairs and Administration) program, MIP will take UMY one step closer to the internationalization of Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIPOL) and Post Graduate Program.
MIP program will collaborate with several international universities: College of Politics, Laws and International Relations, University Utara Malaysia; Post Graduate Program School of Social Science, University Sains Malaysia; Post Graduate of Public Administration, Korea University; Post Graduate of Public Administration and Political Science, Thammasat University. Both parties will conduct students exchange, staffs exchange and double degree program.
“MIP is aimed to give contribution to create professional, Islamic, excellent and globally competent human recourses in public administration sector” said Head of Governmental Science Department FSIPOL UMY Dr. Suranto.
Director of MIP Dr. Ulung Pribadi stated that the program is now open for the initial registration for the new students academic year 2011/2012.
