One of the assessment criteria was the students and alumni, which means that students, lecturers, and alumni have an important role in accreditation. “Student and lecturer achievement is one of the items that were assessed on the form. In addition to lecturers and students, alumni also had a part in the assessment criteria. UMY Mechanical Engineering alumni are spread across various fields of work, including the construction industry, manufacturing industry, design consultants, entrepreneurs, and educators/researchers at national and international levels. “This is in accordance with the profile of graduates that we defined in the TM UMY curriculum structure,” added Berli.
Its A-level accreditation made the TM UMY study program committed to always improving the quality of the study program. “My hope as the Head of Study Program is that the achievement of A-level accreditation will make all the academicians of the Mechanical Engineering study program become more enthusiastic in their work and achievement. Hopefully, the Mechanical Engineering study program can be more beneficial for the people, nation and state, and make UMY and Muhammadiyah organizations proud,” concluded Berli. (dea)
